Monitoring G20 contributions to global Covid-19 vaccine equity: issues and options

Vaccine inequity presents a formidable challenge to confronting Covid-19. The actions of richer countries have been singled out for policies that advance their domestic short-term interests at the expense of the global public good.

This policy brief proposes indicators covering three significant policy areas: 1) financing, 2) excess vaccine procurement and the redistribution of any surplus, and 3) the promotion of intellectual property sharing and medical exports.
