Overseas Development Institute chair James Cameron said:
“There is much to be positive about but there is still a huge amount to be agreed with too many options on the table - including on the critical global temperature target.
"The strong emphasis on developed countries providing finance is welcome but a much stronger review mechanism is needed to maintain momentum after Paris.
"The text is pointing in the right direction but there remain some tough negotiations in the coming days to lock-in an outcome that is mutually beneficial for both developed and developing countries."
