This report explores existing evidence on the ways in which the 2004 Asian tsunami affected vulnerabilities to contracting HIV, the coping strategies of PLHIV and others affected by the emergency and HIV-related programming and services in Sri Lanka. The report forms part of a broader ODI study on HIV in Emergencies, which is being carried out in collaboration with WFP and supported by UNAIDS.
