As Director of Global Strategy, Mark Miller is responsible for enabling the cohesive delivery of ODI’s strategy across different geographies as ODI expands its global footprint. Previously, Mark had led ODI’s programme of work on international and public finance and was director of the ODI Fellowship Scheme.

Mark is an economist with 15 years of experience working primarily on fiscal issues. He has advised finance ministries in Southern Africa and East Asia and has also worked with the World Bank Group and United Nations Development Programme. He is a member of the senior expert advisory group of Coalition of Finance Ministers for Climate Action and on the advisory board of the international Public Expenditure Financial Accountability programmes. Prior to his work in public policy, Mark worked with Unilever.
