The Small Rubritative Colloborative Research Support Programme (SR-CRSP) is the oldest ad largest of eight multidisciplinary agricultural education, research and development initiatives established under the US Congress' International Development and Food Assistance Act of 1975, (amending the Foreign Assitance Act of 1961). Title XII of the amendment, otherwise known as the 'Famine Prevention and Freedom from Hunger Act', provided the authority for the CRSPs.
