Maryam is the Research Uptake Manager for the Secure Livelihoods Research Consortium (SLRC) which looks at how basic services, livelihoods and social protection are provided in conflict affected situations. Maryam specialises in research uptake, stakeholder engagement and dissemination, and holds an MA in International Development and Communications. Prior to joining ODI, Maryam worked as the Communications Coordinator at Muslim Aid, and has worked in campaigning and event management with Free Tibet Campaign and Amnesty International.
