Leanna Kathleena (Kathy) is a Research Officer in the Development and Public Finance programme at ODI. Her research interests include aid, development finance, decolonisation, localisation and migration.

Before joining ODI, Kathy worked at global investment management firm Centerbridge Partners, L.P. Prior to this, she specialised in capital markets transactions at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP. She also counts Haver Analytics, Teach For All and the Vera Institute of Justice as former employers.

Kathy holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of St Andrews and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science with a focus on Policy from New York University.
