Climate Blueprint: Dominica – London Premiere at Rich Mix
Description
We are pleased to premier a new short documentary, Climate Blueprint: Dominica, to an invited audience and members of the public at Rich Mix in Tower Hamlets.
Climate Blueprint: Dominica is the first of a series of short films that explore the climate effects in, and leadership of, small island developing states (SIDS). Set in Dominica, this 25-minute short puts the spotlight on this small Caribbean Island, its decision to take radical action in the face of climate change and ambition to become the first climate resilient nation in the world.
Following the screening, a short, moderated Q&A will be held with the filmmakers and CEO of the Climate Resilience Execution Agency for Dominica (CREAD). The discussion will bring further insights on the effects of climate change in small islands, and the importance of accelerating action to build resilience.
The event will take place at 18:00-20:00 GMT on Thursday 30 November at the Rich Mix, 35-47 Bethnal Green Road, London E1 6LA.
