Yacine Ait-Larbi is a Project Management Officer for the Development and Public Finance programme at ODI. Yacine has provided project support to a £3.9 million technical assistance programme funded by the Swedish Embassy in Mali. He has also led the project management of smaller research consultancy projects including an AFD funding project on national development banks in Africa and their role in the post-Covid economy, and a GIZ-funded project on how multilateral development banks can incentivise action for the provision of global public goods. Prior to joining ODI, Yacine worked with the IOM and the UN in Algeria, providing technical and logistical support to the United Nations Country Team. Yacine also has research experience, with a focus on ‘return and reintegration’, forced displacement and labour migration in France, Algeria and the East and Horn of Africa.
