Saoirse is a freelance Communications Consultant specialising in digital marketing and research communications. She has over 8 years of experience in not-for-profit communications, working with national and international organisations including the British Council, ALNAP, and Scottish Association for Mental Health. Throughout her career, Saoirse’s work has most often focused on issues of equality, humanitarian aid, climate justice, and the experiences of women and girls.

With a BA (Hons) in Journalism from Edinburgh Napier University and an MSc in International Relations from the University of Strathclyde, Saoirse is especially interested in the role that stories and genuine audience representation can play when it comes to democratising research.
