A Senior Research Officer with the Humanitarian Policy Group at ODI, John has previously held research positions with NGO Practical Action and the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office. John’s research experience and areas of interest include the politics of aid sector reform, improving accountability to affected people, the impact of digital technologies on inclusive responses and locally-led humanitarian action.
