Caroline is an independent consultant specialising in research communications and policy engagement. She previously led ODI's strategic communications team, which sits in the Research and Policy in Development (RAPID) programme.

Caroline previously led RAPID's communications research, advisory and consultancy team, which focuses on how best to communicate evidence for policy impact. She has worked with governments, academics, NGOs and communicators in Asia, Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. This includes advising on projects funded by the Indonesian Government, DFID, the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Omidyar Network, the Mastercard Foundation, the South African Presidency (PSPPD), 3ie, Grand Challenges Canada and the World Health Organisation.

Prior to ODI, Caroline managed a major donor fundraising and communications strategy at the international media charity TVE. She also has experience producing TV, radio and digital content, and has worked for companies including BBC, Silver River Productions and Films of Record. Caroline speaks Spanish, French and Russian.
