Bateteba Aselu is Tuvaluan, part Rotuman and Banaban(Rabi). His background is in social science with experience and understanding of life on small island communities, especially that of Tuvalu. He has a strong interest in how climate adaptation initiatives helps strengthen the resilience and well-being of indigenous communities who rely on the environment and its resources.
