Bálint Ván is resident country adviser of the TAXDEV programme in Rwanda, embedded in the Tax Policy Directorate of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning. His work focuses on capacity building, tax policy and data analysis.

Bálint previously worked for 7 years in the Tax Policy and Research Unit of the Ministry of Finance of Hungary, conducting applied research on administrative tax data.

Bálint holds a Master's Degree in Data Science from the Barcelona School of Economics and a BA in Applied Economics from Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest.
