The conference aimed to review the linkages between growth, trade and poverty emphasising what takes place in practice, examining country experience of trade and poverty policy making and what lessons can be learned. By sharing experiences, evidence and real life case studies the aim was to provide practical guidance for efforts to integrate an appropriate trade agenda into a country's development and poverty reduction strategy.
