Resilience is a much talked-about topic, but what does it actually look like in practice and what can donors, practitioners and Monitoring and Evaluation experts learn from others’ experiences?
Join us for a roundtable discussion to explore how BRACED (Building Resilience and Adaptation to Climate Extremes and Disasters) projects have been building resilient communities during its first two years of programming. Presented by project staff, stories share the successes, setbacks and opportunities for implementing and maintaining development activities that are resilient to climate extremes and disasters. These stories look closely at the themes of economic empowerment and access to financial services, to spark a discussion on what resilient project activities look like, what assumptions are made in the design of resilience programmes and where to go from here.
