Description
Humanitarian networks at the national level offer national and local NGOs a way to pool resources, funding and impact. But what is a network? And how can they avoid the destabilising dynamics of larger network members wielding the power and setting the agenda?
This event is aimed at NGO staff who are starting, or already part of, a humanitarian network, however big or small. It builds on ALNAP/ADRRN research carried out in the Philippines, Afghanistan and Bangladesh to explore what makes networks authentic, impactful and sustainable.
Real examples will help illustrate the eight critical factors of success, and what the potential pitfalls could be for networks involved in humanitarian action.
