Study on the Development of EPA Market Access Strategies – Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia and Swaziland
This work is feeding into the preparations being made by a group of SADC states by for their negotiations with the EU of an EPA. They are the four members of the Southern African Customs Union (SACU) which, with three other SADC member countries have decided to negotiate under the SADC configuration. The work focuses on Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, and Swaziland. The research is assisting these countries to integrate their EPA interests on market access with their commitments to SACU and the pre-existing Trade, Development and Co-operation Agreement (TDCA) between the EU and South Africa.
