The purpose of the present review is to assess to what extent the sector budget support programme is successfully contributing to Government of Ghana implementation of its sector strategies in forestry and wildlife, mining and environment by improving the quality of sectoral systems, policy processes and policy implementation.  It will assess the inputs provided by development partners and their effect on the relationship between development cooperation and the government budget and policy processes as well as any changes in the institutional framework for public spending, policy, policy management and service delivery.  The Mid term Review will take stock of what has been achieved by the sector budget support to date, with the intent of applying lessons learnt and providing recommendations to inform the implementation of support on NRE in Ghana.
