Yohannes Ayele is a Senior Research Officer at the International Economic Development Group, ODI. Prior to his current work, he worked as a Research Fellow at the UK Trade Policy Observatory at the University of Sussex, primarily focusing on quantitative analyses of international trade, firms in international trade, FTAs, and trade policy. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Aarhus University and MSc in Economics from Copenhagen University. Previously, Yohannes worked as a teaching instructor and researcher at Bahir Dar University and a teaching assistant at Aarhus University.
