Shandelle is a Senior Research Officer in the Climate and Sustainability programme at ODI, where her work currently focuses on energy transitions.
Prior to joining ODI, she worked as a Research Fellow at Cranfield University where she conducted research with the UK Collaboratorium for Research on Infrastructure and Cities on governance and business models for sustainable infrastructure and urban systems.
Her research experience and interests also include topics such as consumer decision-making and engagement in energy markets, fuel poverty, the energy transition and the transition to modern energy cooking services.
Shandelle holds a PhD in Economics from Loughborough University, along with an MSc in Energy Economics and Policy from the University of Surrey, and a BSc in Economics from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine.
