Barnaby Willitts-King is a Senior Research Fellow for the Humanitarian Policy Group at ODI. His current research focuses on digital technology, humanitarian financing, and the role of emerging actors such as China, the private sector and regional organisations. He has worked in humanitarian action for over 19 years, including for the UK Department for International Development (DFID), Save the Children, and as a consultant to international agencies including the World Food Programme, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).
