Sierra
Leone is home to one of the world’s most malnourished populations. Every year, malnutrition claims more than half of the deaths of
all children under five. In
2010, a nationwide survey found that almost 330,000 children under the age of
five were stunted. As part of a two year study, SLRC have been
looking into the links between state capacity and malnutrition in Sierra Leone and have just produced a report which unpicks the social causes contributing to malnutrition.
