This film moves beyond convential analyses of migration, which view it only as a sympton of rural distress. It focuses on agricultural and non-agricultural labour migration from villages in Andhra Pradesh and explores the drivers behind migration (both coping and accumulation) and considers various policy positions and policy options to support migrant labourers and their families.
