This lunch-time meeting series provided an opportunity for interdisciplinary dialogue between those working in the human rights, development and humanitarian fields. Speakers included economists, lawyers, doctors, NGO campaigners, trade unionists and academics. The series addressed conceptual issues relating to human rights and development and also examined some of the practical issues involved in utilising a rights perspective through a focus on specific sectors or contexts.
