This Kenya case study is part of a wider research project, commissioned by the World Food Programme (WFP), funded by the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) and carried out by the Overseas Development Institute (ODI), to examine the impact of different types of emergencies on HIV. The objective is to develop a conceptual framework for"HIV in emergencies"and a better understanding of the various emergency settings and their implications for people living with HIV (PLHIV) and HIV-related services and vulnerabilities.
