Zainab is a Research Officer in the Humanitarian Policy Group at ODI. Prior to joining HPG, Zainab worked in ALNAP on the 2022 State of the Humanitarian System report and CARE International UK with research experience in a range of topics including gender-based violence in emergencies and drought response in the Horn of Africa. Zainab holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the LSE and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and History from the LSE.
