Thomas Aston is an independent monitoring, evaluation and learning consultant with over a decade's experience working in international development programmes across Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. He was a learning advisor in the Learning, Evidencing and Advocacy Partnership (LEAP) focused on learning and adaptation. He was previously a governance advisor at CARE International where he worked particularly on political economy analysis, accountability and advocacy approaches, and theory-based methods for monitoring and evaluation.
