<p>Pedro is a development economist with expertise in inclusive growth, employment, development finance, and the MDGs. He has extensive experience in applied economic research and policy analysis. His current interests include pro-employment policies, inclusive growth, aid effectiveness, and the post-2015 agenda.</p>

Pedro is an experienced development economist with expertise in inclusive growth, employment, development finance, and the MDGs. For the past ten years he has conducted empirical research in academia and provided policy advice to governments and international organisations. He possesses strong analytical and quantitative skills.

 

Prior to joining ODI, Pedro worked for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the European Commission (EC). He has also undertaken several consultancy assignments for the ADB, UNECA, UNDP and UNCTAD.
