Marigold is a Research Officer working on issues relating to climate finance, aid effectiveness and REDD+. Before ODI, Marigold worked at the Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs supporting the UK's forest governance and trade agenda. Most recently, Marigold managed a global REDD+ finance tracking initiative (REDDX) for the Washington DC research non-profit Forest Trends. Through this initiative, Marigold worked extensively with national governments and stakeholders across fourteen Latin American, African and Asia-Pacific countries to catalogue national REDD+ finance. Marigold holds an MSc in Geography from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BA from the University of Cambridge.
