Marcus is an independent research and communications consultant with five years’ experience working on humanitarian and international development issues. His clients include Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, the European Union, ODI, Elrha, Humanitarian Policy Group and Stockholm Environment Institute. His research experience includes monitoring and evaluating programmatic and research impact; post-conflict-recovery and peacebuilding; humanitarian inclusion; and the socio-environmental dynamics of resource extraction. Marcus holds a MSc (Distinction) in Global Politics from Birkbeck, University of London, and a first-class BA in Geography from the University of Manchester.
