Lydia Poole MSc is a researcher, analyst and humanitarian practitioner with a specialist interest in aid financing and programming in fragile states.
She has worked with a comprehensive range of UN, NGO and governmental clients leading consultative research processes, developing internal and public policy guidance and reports and facilitating policy dialogues. She led the production of flagship publications and data-driven analyses for Development Initiatives, UN OCHA and the IASC Humanitarian Financing Task Team. She is a regular speaker at conferences and workshops and is author of numerous publications and policy documents. Her field work includes postings with NGOs and the UN in Uganda, Darfur, South Sudan and Myanmar.
