Leo’s work focuses on driving the transition to a low carbon world through shifting public and private finance from ‘brown to green’. He has worked on tracking government subsidies to coal, stranded assets, mapping how existing financial regulations and policies undermine climate goals, and driving private investment into renewable energy, as well as ensuring decarbonisation delivers a just transition that leaves no-one behind and the wider development and equity impacts of climate policy.
Previously, Leo spent time working on international climate negotiations and research commissioning with the Climate and Development Knowledge Network.
