Hillary Briffa is a Lecturer in National Security Studies at King’s College London, where she read for her PhD, specialising in the security of small states. She is a founding member of the Centre for Grand Strategy and leads its Climate Change and International Order portfolio. In 2016, she received the U.S. State Department’s inaugural Emerging Young Leaders award, and in 2022 became an Academic Chair of the Circle-U Knowledge Hub on Climate.
