<p>Gurpreet is the Security Manager for ODI, and focuses on global security as well as working on areas of risk for the organisation.</p>

Prior to joining ODI, Gurpreet worked in security and risk management at several NGOs, including Amnesty International, War Child CAFOD and Trocaire. He managed areas around security, including legal, reputational and donor risk as well as integrating security management into programming and crisis management. Gurpreet has predominantly worked in conflict zones in Africa, Middle East and Asia, but has also worked in the commercial sector, managing security for Apple to protect assets, events, launches and VIPs in UK and Europe. Gurpreet studied Psychology at Manchester Metropolitan University and was also on the Steering Committee for European Inter-Agency Security Forum.
