Gabrielle Daoust is a Research Associate in the Global Risks and Resilience programme. Her research focuses on the relationships between environmental and climate change (and especially water) and insecurity, the relationships between climate change and migration, and the political economy of conflict, peacebuilding and development.
Her research focuses particularly on the Lake Chad region, Sudan and South Sudan, and the Sahel region. She has a PhD in International Relations from the University of Sussex.
