Emilie is currently the Strategic Communications & Policy Manager for the Gender Equality & Social Inclusion (GESI) team. They lead on policy impact and communications strategy for the GESI programme and the ALIGN Platform. Emilie has a particular interest in raising research impact and policy influence to promote global gender justice, peace, and women-led social movements, with expertise in Feminist Foreign Policy.

Before joining ODI, Emilie worked across a range of international environments, first in policy and research for the Gender Affairs Division at the United Nations in Santiago (Chile), and later as a consultant for UN Women. They bring specific experience from feminist movements in the Global South, and have supported advocacy work and youth-focused initiatives at the YWCA in Palestine. Emilie holds a distinction in International Relations MSc from LSE, and a first class degree in Geography from UCL.
