Dina Mansour-Ille

Dina Mansour-Ille is a Senior Research Officer within the Politics and Governance programme at the Overseas Development Institute. Her main areas of research interest are political transformation and social change in relation to migration, political and religious violence, poverty, and gender. Her regional expertise is the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and Europe. She mainly works on Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia and Iraq in MENA and Germany, Italy and the UK within the European context.

Dina holds a PhD in Politics and an MA in International Human Rights Law. She has over 12 years of experience working in academic and policy research, research management, civil society, and international advocacy. A former diplomat, Dina has also worked in public policy and diplomacy. She currently leads a research agenda on the impact of technology on state-society relations and peacebuilding at ODI.

Dina is fluent in English, Arabic and German.
