Clarisse is a Project Manager in the Global Risks and Resilience Programme. Prior to joining ODI, Clarisse supported the political transition in the Somali region of Ethiopia with the peacebuilding organisation Conciliation Resources, leading the programme’s work on youth inclusion and monitoring and evaluation. Her experience in programme and project management includes roles as the Programme Manager of the British Embassy Manila’s Bilateral Programme Fund and National Project Coordinator of an Asian Development Bank technical assistance project promoting an interlinked ASEAN capital market.

Clarisse has a Masters in Political Economy from the University of Asia and the Pacific. The topic of her thesis was on the role of multilateral development banks in financial sector reform in the Philippines.
