Claire is a Senior Research Fellow for ODI’s Human Mobility Initiative (HMI). She coordinates HMI’s research portfolio and contributes to public affairs work in key areas such as: migration and development, public attitudes and narratives on migration and human mobility in urban settings.
Prior to joining ODI, Claire worked for eight years as a policy researcher and advisor, consulting for institutions such as UNICEF, Oxfam and Save the Children on a wide range of social and economic policy issues. She has over 20 years of experience working in international development, with a particular focus on inequality and fiscal policies in Latin America and sub-Saharan Africa. Claire holds a masters degree in Development Management from the London School of Economics and an undergraduate degree in European Law and French from the University of Exeter.
