Catherine is a Research Fellow in the Growth, Poverty and Inequality programme. Catherine’s focus is the leave no one behind agenda, the dynamics of poverty and inequality, and the allocation, quality and effectiveness of financing for the SDGs. She has experience in research, policy analysis and advisory work, particularly in development cooperation and public finance.

Before joining ODI, Catherine worked in policy research and advocacy for a number of NGOs, including the ONE Campaign and RESULTS UK.

Catherine holds an MSc in Social Science Research Methods and an MSc in International Development both from the University of Bristol, and BA Hon in History from the University of Oxford. She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Quantitative Techniques for Economics from Birkbeck College, University of London.
