Carla Gomes is a research fellow at the University of Lisbon's Institute of Social Sciences and currently part of the B-WaterSmart team, a H2020 project that aims to contribute to a water-smart society in six European cities and regions. She carried out her PhD research in Mozambique (University of East Anglia), and previously also in Cabo Verde. Key research interests are climate adaptation, environmental justice, capabilities and ecological knowledge.
