Bamidele is a Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERL) specialist with 8 years’ experience managing MERL for donor funded projects. For the FCDO PERL-LEAP, Bamidele worked with the learning and adaptation team saddled with the responsibility of implementing programme wide reflection and learning sessions to inform programme adaptation and improve outcomes. In the past, Bamidele has worked as a research manager and carried out several research assessments/evaluations. These projects were focused on improving MNCH outcomes, assessing health financing and UHC coverage landscape, conducting malaria intervention outcome surveys and developing policies among other areas. Bamidele has two Masters’ degrees in the fields of Public Health, and Disaster Risk Management/Development Studies both from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He has also consulted for other donor funded programs; the UN Foundation, Rand Corporation, USAID, and worked as a management consultant for PwC Nigeria and ICF international.
