Arran Magee is a Research Officer in the Development Progress programme of the Overseas Development Institute. He has a Masters in Education and International Development from the UCL Institute of Education, where he specialised in education in emergencies.
At ODI, Arran's work has focused on education in conflict affected regions and the impacts of crises on marginalised groups. His previous work has entailed extensive research into education for refugees in protracted crises and the use of critical pedagogies, drawing on his qualitative research experience in India, Egypt and Jordan over the past 5 years.
