Amy is a geographer in the Risk and Resilience programme with particular interest in urban climate change adaptation and resilience. She has spent much of the past five years to April 2016 as a research coordinator with the Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN), supporting the delivery of CDKN’s action-oriented research programme and thought leadership on climate resilience.

Amy is a geographer in the Risk and Resilience programme with particular interest in urban climate change adaptation and resilience. Amy holds an MSc in Disasters, Adaptation and Development from King's College London, and a BSc in Geography from the University of Sheffield. Prior to joining ODI, Amy worked for the IFRC to explore how vulnerability and capacity assessments can incorporate climate change and urban risks, and has previously worked with the Red Cross/ Red Crescent Climate Centre in Caribbean and with the Asian Disaster Preparedness Centre in Bangkok.
