Alexandra is a Senior Research Officer in the Humanitarian Policy Group. She has experience in global humanitarian financing, with a particular focus on tracking cash transfers, private humanitarian assistance and funding to Syria and the region. Alexandra holds a Master’s degree in Globalisation and Development Studies from Maastricht University.

A Research Officer with the Humanitarian Policy Group at ODI, Alexandra has previously held research and data analyst positions with Development Initiatives where she focused on humanitarian financing. With research experience covering a broad range of topics including humanitarian and risk financing, aid sector reform, participation and inclusion, and protection advocacy. She holds a Master’s degree in Globalisation and Development Studies from Maastricht University.
