Portrait of Akanksha Bapna

Akanksha has been working extensively on education, bridging the gap between practice, policy and research for well over a decade. She has extensive experience in experimental design, both in science as well as the social sciences and has integrated qualitative, quantitative and mixed method approaches in her work, researching and measuring the impact of education interventions internationally. She has been advising on strategy for high quality data practices fand leading large scale research studies for state governments as well as international organizations such as the World Bank, LEGO Foundation, Sesame and the EdTech Hub. Akanksha is now building the research agenda at the intersection of Education and Climate Change by bringing her expertise in causal inference and systems methodologies to build the evidence on what works/what is needed for Climate Change Education.

Akanksha holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge, and a Masters' degree in International Education Policy from Harvard University.
