Abigail Hunt was Research Fellow within ODI’s Equity and Social Policy programme, specialising in women’s rights and gender equality. Her current research focuses on the gendered dynamics of labour and care, informal economies, the future of work and social protection.

Abigail previously worked with Womankind Worldwide and the European Women’s Lobby in policy-focused roles, and as gender adviser to the Ministry of Women and the Secrétariat permanent des organisations non gouvernementales in Burkina Faso. She holds an MA in Gender and International Development with distinction, and speaks French and Spanish.

Abigail is now Policy Officer in public services at Trade Union Congress.
