The 4th World Water Forum addressed ‘local actions for a global challenge’. The five-day event was organised around themes and regions, with a day per major region and theme. The key themes were: water for growth and development; implementing integrated water resources management (IWRM); water supply and sanitation for all; water management for food and the environment; and risk management.



 



The Water Policy Programme attended this event. In addition to a trip report, they also wrote a series of blogs from the event.
