Description

After well over a year of debate and discussion, the publication of the report of the UN Secretary General’s High Level Panel, and many thousands of hours of consultation, the outlines of a consensus on the post-2015 agenda are starting to emerge.  So too are the points of continued disagreement and debate.

A joint event between UNF and ODI, this conference will provide space for substantive discussions aimed at identifying consensus as well as defining the issues on which there is less agreement, and the sources of those disagreements.  It will be focused throughout on drawing out the lessons from evidence and experience for setting new goals and targets, and for creating the political coalitions to allow that to happen.

The conference will convene staff in UN missions, UN specialist agencies, leading thinkers and other key practitioners in New York and Washington working on the post-2015 agenda.

Attendance to the conference is by invitation only.
